recently sailed in Cabin 8066 on the Westerdam. The location was midship right next to the glass elevator on the port side. I had very little noise from elevators – occasional “ding” sound but that was about it. The room was spacious, the water pressure was good, and everything was in working order. The room was on the warm side but my cabin stewards were pro-active and it improved as the cruise went on. This location was also good for disembarking in ports as it was straight down to deck A and off. The balcony was spacious and had two chairs and footstools. The tub/shower combo worked well with two good handrails to hold on to. In addition I was one deck below the LIdo. There was little noise involved so another plus for the cabin. I’d grab it again if I could
