We did notice the Pinnacle Suite on the Westerdam was smaller than on the Zuiderdam and Noordam. At first the concierges denied it, but during dry-dock and remodel, one of our stewards said it was shortened by a few feet for mechanical upgrades. If you notice, in the living room picture, there is no large recliner/chair as other Pinnacle Suites.

We really like the updates to the Pinnacle Suite after recent dry docks on the Vista-class ships. The most important change is removing that tiny modular shower and replacing it with a much larger one. On the other hand, they removed the gold-plated fixtures in the bathrooms; some people liked them but we just found the gold ones gaudy. They also removed the old bathtub with the lion statue squirting water and replaced it with a more modern one. We also miss the really tall-back chair in the living room but the new one is also comfortable.
