Room 5002 Westerdam (disability cabin) had a face light in the bed area in the dry dock January 2026.

The bed’ orientation was changed from facing the balcony to facing the front of the ship. It allows cruisers to lie in bed and see out the window at the bow of the room.

The room is spacious. The bed entry for the person with disability is on the port side of the room near the balcony door.

The bathroom has one sink due to it being a disability room.  It has a shower with fold down bench. The shower is smaller than other disability cabins we have used due to their being a bath in the bathroom as well. The bath has a transfer seat which makes it unusable for other people.

There is plenty of storage and a couch, a table with 2 comfortable chairs. There is also a chair at the desk area.
