Noordam Oceanview #1095

We stayed in this cabin in October 2026. The cabin is in a great starboard location, just down the hall from Future Cruises and Guest Services. There is easy access to both the midship and aft elevators and stairs. Easy access to the music scene on the Deck 2 and the library and cafe on the Deck 3.

The cabin is directly below the Explorer’s Lounge, but we never heard any of the performances. We even noted hearing the string performances by the stairs and elevators but not in our cabin. On port days, the gangway was either by guest services or on Deck A. It was close and convenient, but the flow of passengers exiting and entering the ship didn’t come through our hallway. There are no cabins across the hall, but there is a crew door close by. We didn’t hear any noise from it.

The cabin is very quiet at night. We rarely heard noise from the hallway. The only time we heard noise was during port days when they would do some maintenance somewhere down below or outside. On the last port day, it was pretty loud for about 30 minutes, but it was a specific maintenance issue they were doing during the day before they set off from Seattle to Sydney.

The twin configuration is great for this oceanview cabin to create more room in the middle of the cabin and to get a better view out the window. This is a triple occupancy cabin with a sofabed. We had two adults and a small teenager in this cabin and didn’t feel cramped. Hubby is six feet tall and took the sofabed because he liked being closer to the bathroom at night. He slept great all week. In the bathroom, there is a bathtub with a shower curtain, but the curtain doesn’t wrap around you like it can in some shower stalls.

I would stay in this cabin again.
