Location, location, location:  that is one way to sum up our reaction to being in Cabin #10024 for a one week  cruise from Whittier.  It is literally one step to the door to the Sports Deck.  It is a super short walk to the Crow’s Nest, the Art Studio, and the shore excursions desk.  It is a super short walk to the elevators and down to the World Stage, the Casino, library and more.  Walk or ride one flight down, and you  are very soon  in the Lido

Then, of course there is the concept of paying for an inside cabin with a window.  When at sea you have views of the sky.  When in port or near mountains you can see land by looking to one side or the other.   You can even see land while sitting or lounging on the bed.

During the day you can have the drapes open because the glass is reflective.  At night you do need  to close the drapes.

Is the cabin small?  Yes it is, but it is big enough.  The space between the wall and bed was a little tight but we soon got used to it.The bathroom with shower is actually a decent size.  There is also a decent amount of storage.

If you use a CPAP machine, the cabin stewards can rig up an extension cord, best on the right hand side of the bed.  Ours put some tape down so there was no trip hazard going over to the plug-in point.
