We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam for a 4 day cruise, April 29 – May 4, 2026 in a VB category, room 5003.

Some things to be aware of:  Our verandah still had a tub with shower, and shower curtain.  I was hoping to have just a shower enclosure, but I understand that none of the verandah rooms have been upgraded as of yet.

Our room had the bunk that dropped down from the ceiling.  Although it was never used, you can see its location over the bed in one of the photos. 

My father was traveling with us, and his room was next door, so we had the balcony divider between our rooms opened.  There is a photo of how it looks when the divider is open.

All in all, she is a lovely ship!
