A very aft cabin on Deck 9. Cabin was subject to a lot of movement and contstant white industrial noise but the extended balcony was terrific. Hard to say if our CC member would select this cabin again due to the excessive ship movement but loved the balcony view. They did a have lot of rough seas and long distances to cover at top speeds on their cruise.
Verandah is only partly covered by the overhang and water from washing the upper aft pool deck 10 or rain will make part of the balcony wet. It is sufficiently private and covered at one end, but the far end does opent to Deck 10 views and the public aft Deck 9 lounger area. She describes it as an L shape – private standard wall between next dorr cabin 203 and then a sloping wall between the cabin windows and the front of the extended deck which is open.
The cabin itself was fine with nicely updated furnishings, carpet & bath. Head of the bed is at the aft end of the cabin for it’s sleeping posistion.
Quick access to open air aft satir cases to Lido and aft pool as well as glass enclosed sair case to Deck 8 which allows ‘indoor’ viewing in strong winds, cold or rain.
Best feature for this cabin was the 180 degree views. The worst feature was the aft location and movement.
