This verandah stateroom is a VB classification and has an extended balcony. As seen in the picture, the balcony is twice as deep as other verandah types. This was nice but I wouldn’t get it again for an Alaskan cruise. The last half of the balcony is exposed to the elements and rain which happens often in Alaska. If I were on a Caribbean or sunny cruise, this could be great to “lay out” on as the chairs will fully recline. Be aware though everyone in rooms above can look down at you.

We could feel some movement since this is towards the aft of the ship. One day was a “full speed ahead” day and we could feel vibrations. Other than that this end of the ship was very quiet. No noise from above or the MDR below. Only slight noise from a neighbor stateroom as this is an adjoining room.

This room is also convenient to the MDR and Dutch Cafe, however it was a trek to the front of the ship or the Lido areas.
