Hi, I just got off Koningsdam and thought I would share a few pictures of our Family Oceanview Cabin (FA), room number 1155. 
Based on some other posts that I have seen, some of these rooms have the upper bed above the main bed and possibly a cabinet for life jackets over the couch. I think that happens when it is an adjoining room. I have also seen the bed and couch flipped. Personally, this seems to be the best location. Our room steward left the upper bed pulled down all week which was just fine. There is beer little room (maybe 3″) between the pull out sofa and the desk when it is pulled out, so you may want to just put it away yourself to give as much space as possible.
There was quite a bit of noise in this particular cabin. It is below the Club Orange dining room and I think there is a dumb waiter elevator on the other side of the hallway so during meal times, you hear the whirl of a winch motor moving out from deck 2 to deck A below, and then cart wheels and rattles off dishes. Moving down the hall by just a few rooms would probably help a lot.
