He reports that the one unusual thing about this room was the little white box in the back of the fridge.  It is very cold and drinks on it should be buffered a bit to prevent freezing.   He kept ice cream there for about 3 hours and it was very soft but presentable.  Ice cream would probably not soften for a few hours if the container was covered.  The last morning when he came back from breakfast the room had been configured for twin beds.
