Eurodam (Signature Class) Balcony Stateroom 5127 (Verandah Deck 5), Category “V” – Pictures taken March 2015.

This is a connecting stateroom (you can see the connecting door in the fourth photo, near the foot of the bed). Consequently, the television is mounted in the corner of the desk area, and was smaller than the wall-mounted television I had in a similar, non-connecting stateroom on Eurodam’s sister ship, the Nieuw Amsterdam. This stateroom is nestled between staterooms both above and below it, and is very quiet. I did not experience any extra noise due to the fact that this was a connecting stateroom.

I would also like to mention that the balcony of this room is bit shallower than those on other decks/categories, in order to make room for the lifeboats underneath. The lifeboats were semi-visible while sitting and standing on the balcony, as you can see in the photo. There is also a bit of an overhang from the deeper balconies above on Deck 6. None of these things posed a problem for me, as I was traveling solo, though I could see it being a bit cramped for two adults on the balcony.
