Book cabin #7058 on the Koningsdam if you can. We would recommend to anyone because of how quiet it is, its size, its shape, the great views, and the location. It is just a few steps to the forward elevators but we heard zero noise from there. The location was super convenient to the Crow’s Nest, the Art Studio, the Retreat, the World Stage, the library, the Lido, and the music venues. It is perhaps a 5 minute walk from the Main Dining Room. It has fine views looking back, looking straight out, and looking forward. There are ample outlets, and usb ports. It was no problem to plug in a CPAP machine at the bed. It is sheltered from the wind, and for our cruise, from the rain. Though the railing was wet a coupe of times, the veranda and chairs were dry. The closest thing to a negative is that the commode is at an angle and if a person was tall, their knees would be touching the shower door. As it is, my feet were touching. In conclusion, Do NOT let Holland America entice you to a Vista suite in an up-sell! We had more room and a larger balcony than in a Vista Suite.
