I took these pictures of our room on the Zaandam in August 2023 during a Boston to Montreal cruise. This is room 1877 which is an interior. This is oddly shaped, kind of like an L, which makes the room huge. Very large cabin with separate couch. There is a shower but it’s not the glass shower we’ve had before in other cabins on Zaandam. The bathroom doesn’t appear to have been remodeled and is showing it’s age. The rest of the room has been updated. It’s mid ship and right by the elevators. Never heard any noise from that. There are no cabins on either side of this cabin. Every now and then we heard some noises next to us which is a storage area for the crew and a crew staircase. But other then some noises hear and there, would stay in this room again. Room was quiet at night and slept well. When the boat was moving during sea days, hardly felt anything and I am prone to motion sickness.
