The cabin is very convenient, very close to the mid-ship stairs and elevators. You can see around and through the lifeboat, but there is a ladder that comes up from the promenade deck just to the right of the window, and quite often crewmembers would climb up to clean the lifeboat or to apply grease to the mechanical bits.
