This is an HC cabin – quite spacious and would easily accommodate a full time wheel chair user or someone with a large scooter. There was a fairly large hall/entry way with a place to park a scooter (if it was no deeper than the closets). The bathroom is accessible with a no barriers shower and a shower chair. I am not sure if he beds were standard for Veendam but they looked more like a cot from under and did not have the drawer I have found on the R class ships. The down side is the cabin is located under the dishwashing station and machine in the galley above. You could hear muffled footsteps and occasionally water spraying. But more importantly, the dish trolley would roll across the cabin ceiling about every half hour and it was rather loud. The noise could be an issue for a light sleeper. Due to being on our deck of choice, if I was assigned the cabin from a guarantee again I would not be disappointed. (But being we are not handicapped, we would not book it.)
