Vista suite 053 is on Deck 10, the Navigation Deck of ms. Maasdam. 0bnxshs described the stateroom 051, which would be the same as 053, except that the bed is facing forward, not aft as 051. It is on the starboard side. We did hear some sounds from above in the Lido Restaurant if we were awake, but I can’t say it ever kept me awake or woke me up if I was asleep. I really liked being on Deck 10 – easy to get outside to the stern pool area, or one floor up to the Lido Restaurant. The balcony was quite small, just one chair with a small table, and a chaise lounge which fits snugly between the railing and the wall. But it is sheltered and a great spot for watching the sea. We were never bothered by smoke, but that was just luck, as we had no smokers near us. We had no problems with the air conditioning, but, forewarned, we did order a fan ahead of time, and used it most nights.
